I don't know of any articles off the top of my head but i'll do a search around for you mate, should be something somewhere on it. It was Dan that told me about it so he might know of one if I can't find any fella
I had a look at the pic in tkg and I can only see one set aswel, I'm wondering whether the second set is on a different section? Maybe closer to the carapace?
I think it's because TKG is more of a general guide so they cover alot of the basics and don't get into too much detail about specific spiders as the book would be 1,000,000 pages long! ha!
Yes thanks Martin. Been busy working - walking round our local country park with a couple of disabled young ladies. Exhausting but fun - probably looked mad - adults playing hide & seek!
I'm guessing you're a carer then lydia? I'm all good Martin, had to replace my "spider book" today so just sorting the sections out and writing out some overlapping info from old to new
I'm a team leader and arts and craft tutor for a charity in Slough, Berks. I love it. Have worked with troubled teens and special needs for a long time. Def keeps me grounded! How long have you been keeping spiders?
Aww thats cool, my mum works in a mother and baby respite which I know isn't the same but she works with troubled teens and she says its the most rewarding job you can get I had my first T for my 14th birthday 12 years ago but I would say i've taken it up on a more serious level over the last 5 or so years
Mother and baby respite can't be easy but like a lot of difficult jobs, they bring their own reward. Does anyone else want to say how long they've been into this hobby?
